Objectives Target Group
Community Mechanism Induction Course (CMI)
Create, within the Community Mechanism, a common basis of understanding concerning the tasks, procedures and co-operation during international civil protection assistance interventions.
Build up a capacity to work in a multinational environment, with competent national authorities and under extreme conditions.
  1. Intervention team leaders and deputies;
  2. All kind of experts:
    1. Technical;
    2. Assessment;
    3. Coordination head and team members;
    4. National 24hrs contact point staff.
Operational Management Course (OPM)
Facilitate the co-operation and co-ordination between the intervention teams.
Improve assessment and management skills, organising, planning (administrative and operational areas) and providing staff support.
  1. Intervention team leaders and deputies, if liaison officers;
  2. Experts:
    1. Assessment;
    2. Coordination head and team members.
High Level Coordination Course (HLC)
Understanding the political context in which the Community Mechanism will be used.
Promote co-operation with competent national authorities of the requesting country and other international partners and actors during international assistance interventions.
Exercise leadership under extreme conditions.
