EU Mechanism Training

The European Community Mechanism is a framework to reinforce and facilitate cooperation in civil protection assistance interventions in Europe set up on the 23rd of October 2001, after a decision in the Council of the European Union.

It went into force on the 1st of January 2002.

Today, 30 states participate in the Community Mechanism, with around 488 million citizens in total.
